#SquadRetreat2019 🇯🇲Exploring Natural Beauty in Jamaica
I just got back from traveling to Jamaica with 10 amazing women who came to my first group travel trip (#squadretreat2019)! The theme of our trip was Exploring Natural Beauty in Jamaica and we had a blast and I can honestly say I left having friendships with each and every woman who attended. Here is a recap of the trip if you were not able to follow along on social media!
Thursday
The first night we had a welcome dinner where each person introduced themselves and was gifted a goodie bag with matching t-shirts, hair products, a thank you card and more. After dinner, we all changed and went out to our first club in Montego Bay to see how lit the nightlife is in Jamaica.
Friday
Day two we started the day with the Fros in Focus Goal Setting session where every attendee was given a workbook to complete alongside the workshop that I led. Every squad member left the session with clarity on their mission for 2020 and how to set actionable goals for the new year.
After the goal-setting session, we all headed to the pool and beach for a pool party! This was a great time to just relax and enjoy the all-inclusive resort and beachside jerk chicken grill. The weather was perfect and the water was so warm!
In the evening, we headed to a local beauty store and salon where we met the black woman founder of an all-natural skincare and hair care line to receive consultations and product recommendations. Then, everyone participated in a facial routine and massages!
That night, we ate dinner at the resort, watched the free Jamaican dance show and then headed in our private van to another late night out.
Saturday
Our last full day was Saturday--we went off the resort for a fun all-day excursion that included hopping on an amazing catamaran boat cruise, snorkeling in the reefs, hiking up the beautiful Dunns River Falls, and a fun party boat on the way back.
Once we returned to our hotel, the Riu Reggae, we had our farewell dinner and reflected on the trip as a whole. To close things out, we went clubbing as a group...again!
Sunday
Sunday morning went by quick, as we only had our breakfast and all departed home.

The trip was a once in a lifetime chance to connect with women from different states (North Carolina, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma) with a passion for new experiences, meaningful connections and having a lot of fun. For some, it was their first time leaving the country and for others, it was a great chance to travel in a group setting and relax on the island.
I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to travel with my subscribers and supporters for my first Squad Retreat! Where should we head nexy year and are YOU coming? (Reply to this email to let me know!)
xoxo

p.p.s. I hope you have a great holiday and end of 2019!
