Wave Former Tutorial on Type 4 Natural Hair

This is a natural hair wave formers tutorial on for type 4c 4b 4a natural hair. This is my first time trying wave formers on my natural hair and I really liked how they turned out!

Hey guys, it's Joi here, and today we are going to be reviewing wave formers. As you guys know, I've used curlformers on my channel multiple times. I'm so excited to try these wave formers. I ordered them off eBay.

I got really long ones just because I couldn't convert from centimeters to inches. Oh my god, embarrassing. So we're going to be using the Shea Moisture, coconut hibiscus frizz-free curl mousse. I just finished co-washing my hair, so it's detangled and wet. I'm going to section it off, and we can get started. I have 36, which means I need 18 on each side.

And because I love you guys so much, I have a free hair growth guide that will teach you the seven mistakes you're making that prevent your hair from growing. Alright, so I'm just going to section my hair off into four sections. And then we'll do try our best to do nine wave curlers. So what you do is you put it in here. It's just like the curlformers, and then we're going to have this into 3 sections. This section is already, so let's take the brush make sure it's detangled. Then I twist the root to prevent it from being caught up. Then you click it in place and slide it up and pull it through.

Okay, so I love the way this looks. It looks way different than I expected it would. These curls are so wavy. See? They're so bouncy, thanks to this. And I use a dryer to help dry it fast just because I didn't want them to make hair all day. But I love the look. So thank you guys so much for watching this review. Let me know what you think and if you would try these out yourself. Other than that, I'll talk to you guys next time! Bye.
