ORGANIZE MY SMALL APARTMENT WITH ME! (Under the Sink, Bathroom, Drawer & Entryway)
Organize my small apartment with me! In this week's video, I am tackling the clutter and organizing under my kitchen sink, my bathroom and toiletries, my utility drawer in the kitchen, and my entryway space.
Hey guys, I just got back from the bank and Target. I had to go to the bank to deposit a check because when you work with different clients and brands, not everyone pays by direct deposit or PayPal, so I'm just sending a check.
Then I went to Target to pick up some stuff for dinner. I saw on Pinterest, some teriyaki chicken, so I went and picked up some Target brand teriyaki, soy sauce, noodles, and some chicken. Then I also picked up teriyaki noodles and veggies. I didn't think this had enough noodles in it. I'm going to make that tonight. The chicken is in the fridge to begin thawing. I'll probably set it out three hours before dinner.
The purpose of this video is to show you how I organize. I'm going to film this over a couple of days, organizing different areas. Spot one is under the kitchen sink. I bought this under the sink organizer on Amazon. It will be linked down below.
Spot number two is the over the toilet organizer, and I'll link this organizer below. I bought these clear bins for 99 cents at Target. I would get fancy baskets, but I didn't want to buy six at $7 for a piece. I didn't feel like spending that much money in this area. So if I ever want to upgrade it, I will.
Also, our utility drawer is so messy, it is organized, but I need to go in and reorganize everything because there are slots for everything. It's just not looking up to par right now.
So this is the finished product. I was trying to figure out how this would work for me. And I think just as we get more stuff, there'll be more useful. I want to get some basket to hold those dog treats and dog food. Also, I have my branch Basics cleaning solution, a natural cleaning solution that you can use for everything. I just ordered refills of it, so I have two bottles in here of the solution. Once I run out of these cleaning products, I'm just going to be using all Branch Basics because they're natural and safe.
Up next is the utility drawer. I bought these containers to separate and organize items. These blue containers I got from Walmart came in a pack of three for like $1. The bigger one I got from IKEA. So I am going to organize this to make it more efficient.
Okay, so this drawer is clean. So I'm to show you how I organized it. So we have some card games in here. This section is for pins and kind of like a catch-all for random stuff and whiteboard markers. This section is for any tool parts or screws, or stuff we buy. This section is for chip clips, I have way more than fill up this, but we're using them. This section is for tape, screwdrivers, scissors, and lighters. This section is for wine and cocktails. And then this section is for a whole bunch of command strip items. And then lastly, some tape in this section. So that is how I organized this utility drawer.
So the last place I organized is this door tree. I got a basket from TJ Maxx and the door tree I think I got from Wayfair. I'll have the door tree link down below. It was the perfect size for my little corner. So measure dimensions if you're trying to fit a door tree in a specific area. We hang our jackets and masks here. This section is for extra stuff for my dog, like his poop bags. In this section, we've been putting umbrellas. Hopefully, I figure out a better resolution for umbrellas.
