How I Trim My Natural Hair at Home

Learn how to trim your natural hair at home by watching me trimming my natural hair. I have type 4b / 4c natural hair that had tons of split ends and single strand knots (fairy knots) that needed to be cut!! I always trim my own hair so this is not my first rodeo. I am really happy with how my natural hair cut came out because my fro is nice and round and big!

Hey guys, I wanted to pop in to let you know I have a free hair growth guide for you, the guide will tell you the top seven mistakes you might make that are preventing your hair growth. To get the guide, go to the link. *FREE* HAIR GROWTH GUIDE: http://bit.ly/free-hairgrowth-guide

When I went to get my hair braided, my ends look super thin. So I'm just cutting them so I can start with healthy hair. I have no real strategic method. My only goal right now is to get the dead ends off. My only strategy is going in sections trimming about an inch off. When you wear your hair curly all the time, anything uneven doesn't matter. Hopefully, I can get it cut by a professional, maybe in a couple of months once it starts to grow out again. Your hair is so much easier to detangle once you cut the dead ends.

I think I'm just going to wear my hair in protective styles for most of the semester and see how my hair reacts to that. When my hair was at its longest, I was washing my hair every six weeks. I only fingered detangled, and the only product I used was shea butter. So I know that's what my hair will thrive with if I decide to throw my hair out again. The only thing about my super long natural hair was that it took me forever, especially the finger detangling.

My hair looks bigger now that I've trimmed it. It has less straggly ends and is back looking healthy and big—this the 100% finish result. Let me know in the chat when the last time you had your hair trimmed was or when you trimmed your hair. For me, it was in December 2018, so it's been like a long time. It's already September. Thanks for watching. Bye!
